Overview of Wingding Match
Wingding Match is a dynamic matching game for Excel. Overall, it is a basic digital game, similar to Concentration with a twist. Additionally, it is open-source, allowing you to view the code directly in Excel.
We call it Wingding because the matching characters are from the Wingdings font.

Note: Wingding contains macros. Because of protection levels in Excel, you may need to set up a trust folder and put the game in that directory. This way, you can just open and play.
The levels to Wingding Match
So, there are three levels to Wingding. Yeap, it is a fairly short game. Originally, we did not know if it would work in Excel. However, after Wingding, we knew almost anything is possible in Excel.
Level 1
Of course, level one is pretty easy. You only have to make three matches. But, the twist is still in effect.
Level 2
So, we leave all the pieces closed in the above screenshot of the second level. Hopefully, you appreciate the design in Excel 2003.
Level 3
In the final level, all the pieces come out to play.
The Twist
Here is the twist… If you miss a match two consecutive times, then the pieces are scrambled. This makes the game nearly impossible to complete in the third level. Unfortunately, we did not make a change to that feature. Perhaps, we could have made where the final level was just straight matching.
Well, in any case, we do not plan to update the game. However, you are free to make changes on your end. Remember, it is open-source.
