Trend Analysis Report - Analysis data over a specific period of time.
Application: Microsoft Excel 2007
Date created: May 25, 2016
The trend analysis report is a dashboard for Excel that allows you to analyze your performance over specific periods of time. In short, we also call this tool TAR. At first, it was developed as a web analytics report for visits, orders, and sales data.

On the whole, TAR contains three sections: The overview, daily breakdown, and print version. In addition, each section has a navigation bar. Overall, it is a highly user friendly report. And, at the same time, it has a basic user interface. This makes it easier for the user or client to make comparisons with their data.
Note: TAR was only tested on computers in the United States. Unfortunately, it may not work on computers with a regional setting outside the U.S. Fortunately, you can change your regional settings. Click on the link below to learn more about regional settings.

The overview section gives you a high level view of your data. It has a snapshot section, a chart summary, and a breakdown summary. Within each summary, you can make custom selections. Additionally, you can show the average and previous year for the time period you select.
With the daily breakdown, you get to view metrics on a daily level.
The print summary is almost the same as the overview. However, we took off the dark background. This way, it will show better on black and white printers.
Basically, any selections you make in the overview are applied to the print summary.
You are free to update TAR in any way you like. For example, you may not like the titles or some of the formulas.
The TAR is part of our vintage collection. For the most part, we do not provide support for our vintage tools.
For developers, no visual basic for applications (VBA) code was harmed during the creation of this tool. Now, we love VBA and it is a challenge making tools without it. That is the short of it.
To use TAR, you need Microsoft Excel 2007 or higher or compatible.
